Rental and Repair Policy

 

Reservation Policy

Advance Reservations: We highly recommend securing your rental in advance to ensure availability. Walk-ins are welcome but subject to current availability. If you are late, the reservation may be released to standby customers.

Payment Requirements: A valid Visa, Discover, MasterCard, or American Express is required (NO debit card) to secure your reservation. Full payment will be processed at the time of booking. Additional gear or services will be charged at the time of rental.

Security Deposit: A security deposit up to $2,500.00 per machine may be required, authorized on a valid credit card. Debit cards are not accepted for this purpose. This deposit covers potential damages and is refundable upon the safe return of the equipment in its original condition.

Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to decline rentals to any individual if deemed necessary. In such cases, any payments made will be refunded, minus applicable administrative fees and Cancellation Policy Fees

Equipment Availability: In the unlikely event that reserved equipment becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer to reschedule your rental or provide a full refund upon request.

Weather-Unsafe Cancellations: Cancellations are permitted only in cases of unforeseen acts of nature, such as road closures, wildfires, or other events that render trails or access to our location unsafe. General unfavorable weather does not qualify for cancellation.

Cancellation Policy

No Show: If you fail to arrive at the specified pickup time, your reservation will be considered a No Show, and you will not be eligible for a refund. The full rental price will still be charged.

More Than 30 Days’ Notice: No Fee.

11 to 29 Days’ Notice: Cancellations made between 11 and 29 days before the reservation date will be charged 30% of the rental price per machine.

Less Than 10 Days’ Notice: Cancellations made less than 10 days before the reservation date will be charged 80% of the rental price per machine.

Rental Terms and Conditions

Age and Licensing: Renters must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid license.

Insurance: Renters are responsible for any damages incurred during the rental period. We offer optional insurance coverage for an additional fee, which we highly recommend to protect against unforeseen incidents.

Use of Equipment: Renters must adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations. Operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement without a refund.

Pre- and Post-Rental Inspections: A walk-around inspection of the vehicle will be conducted with the customer prior to rental to document and explain any existing scratches, dents, or damages. Upon return, another inspection will be conducted with the customer to address any new damages or concerns identified during the rental period.

Return Condition: Equipment must be returned clean and in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear includes minor scuffs, light scratches, or minimal dirt that can be cleaned without repairs. Renters will be responsible for the cost of repairs for any damage beyond normal wear, such as dents, scratches, broken components, or damage to mechanical systems caused by improper use or neglect. This applies to boats, side-by-sides, and ATVs. If a vehicle is damaged severely and cannot be rented for an extended period, the renter may also be held responsible for lost rental time at the standard rate. Renters will be responsible for the cost of repairs for any damage beyond normal wear at our shop at our standard rate.

Fuel Policy: All vehicles will be provided with a full tank of fuel upon departure. It is the renter’s responsibility to refuel the tank before returning the vehicle. If the tank is not refilled, we offer a refueling service that includes the cost of fuel, transportation time (if applicable), and a service fee.

Damage Reporting: Renters are required to notify us immediately of any damages or mechanical issues during the rental period. Failure to report damages promptly may result in additional charges.

Cleaning Fee: Equipment must be returned in a reasonably clean condition. Excessive dirt, mud, or debris will result in a cleaning fee of our standard hourly shop rate.

Late Returns: Equipment returned late will incur additional charges at the standard hourly rental rate. Late returns may also impact future reservation eligibility.

Authorized Users: Only the individual(s) listed on the rental agreement are authorized to operate the equipment. Unauthorized use may result in termination of the agreement and forfeiture of the security deposit.

Repair Policy

Estimates and Testing: By approving or dropping off or pickup to perform repairs through 3G Powersports, customers authorize us to conduct necessary diagnostics, tear-downs, and test drives to assess the vehicle. Customers agree to pay for all labor and parts involved in diagnostics, tear-downs, and estimates at our standard hourly rate.

Customer Responsibility for Insurance: Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicles have adequate insurance coverage for theft or acts of God. 3G Powersports is not liable for any damages or theft that occur while the vehicle is in our care.

Customer-Provided Parts for Rentals: To ensure safety and liability, we do not install customer-provided parts. This policy helps us maintain the highest standards of service and ensures that all components are compatible and meet safety regulations.

Abandoned Vehicles: Vehicles left unclaimed for more than 30 days after the completion of repairs will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to charge a storage fee of $50.00 per day or take ownership of the vehicle in accordance with local laws.

Warranty on Repairs: We stand by the quality of our work. All repairs are covered by a 6-month labor warranty. If issues arise related to the service performed, please contact us promptly. However, the warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:

If you decline a recommended service that directly affects the repair performed. For example, if a carburetor is cleaned due to rust from a fuel tank, but you decline fuel tank repair, the warranty will not cover subsequent carburetor issues caused by rust.

Damage or failure caused by improper use, neglect, or external factors unrelated to the repair.

Repairs performed by other parties or tampering with our work.

General Terms

Theft Responsibility: Renters are 100% responsible for the theft of the equipment while in their possession. In the event of theft, the renter agrees to pay the full replacement cost of a new unit, regardless of the circumstances.

Safety Gear: All renters and riders are required to wear appropriate safety gear, including helmets, gloves, and protective clothing. Failure to do so may result in the termination of the rental agreement without a refund.

Prohibited Uses: The use of rental equipment for racing, stunts, or any illegal activities is strictly prohibited. Any evidence of such use will result in additional charges and potential legal action.

Liability: Renters assume all risks associated with the operation of the rented equipment. We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the rental period.

Indemnity: Renters agree to indemnify and hold [Your Business Name] harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the operation or use of rented equipment, including third-party claims.

Severe Weather Responsibility: Renters are responsible for securing equipment during severe weather conditions to prevent damage. Any damage resulting from negligence during such events will be charged to the renter.

Refund Timeline: Refunds for security deposits or cancellations will be processed within 7–10 business days after equipment is returned or the cancellation request is approved.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of Idaho. All claims must be filed in Bonner County, Idaho.

Acknowledgment of Terms: By renting equipment, all renters confirm they have read, understood, and accepted the Rental and Repair Policy, including all terms, responsibilities, and risks outlined. This acknowledgment is binding even if the renter does not sign a separate waiver.
